I've been working at the school since...August? Yeah, August, as a reliever/substitute, and I fell in love with the school, so getting a job there? Pretty much the best thing ever, EEEEEE.

As of now, I don't know how this'll impact my simming, but who knows! I've been in a bit of a sims slump this year, mainly because of stress, so it is probable that I'll pop in from time to time.

ALSO, HOW IS EVERYONE DOING? I've been absent for entirelyyyy too long. :X

Welcome back! I may have been a little incoherent on your tumblr post this morning so I shall also comment here, but like a rational human:

Congratulations! It must be a big relief to know what you're doing next year, and especially awesome to be at a school where you know the people and you know how things work. I hope it goes brilliantly well for you (year 2 did you say on your other post? MOST EXCELLENT) and I can tell you right now that simming becomes very attractive at certain times in the school year, for me mostly when I should be writing reports -_-

WELL, I saw this comment and that reply and did a skippy little excitement dance. I may look up to you a wee bit* in regards to both sims/teaching.

Yes, Year 2! They're so gorgeous at that age, aren't they?? And I've spent a fair bit of time in two out of the school's three Year 1 classes, so chances are I'm going to know a bunch of my kids.

I'm not looking forward to reports, ugh. Just about every time I'm at the school (2-3 times a week), I have at least one teacher come up and beg me to take their lunchtime supervision duty so they can work on reports. They make it sound so much scarier than when I was helping my Associate with them last year! D:

I'm looking forward to weird things. Or at least they feel weird, since no one else mentions it. Like putting together my writing and reading routines. There is something almost unnaturally satisfying about creating a fantastic reading routine.

*or a not so wee bit. But I was trying to sound less creepy. *innocent*

Oh man, the excitement of FINALLY getting to set everything up exactly the way you want it! And reports aren't too bad, at least for us, I am just a champion procrastinator :D
