Sims 2 Castaway Stories

Me: Excuse me, would you know if you have Sims 2 Castaway for PC?
Sales Guy: *smiles* I'll check. *begins typing on computer*
Me: *thinks about how hot sales guy is: hair is styled, but not over-gelled, teeth nice an clean without being artificially whitened, nice clean-shaven face, not to mention just being generally hot*
Sales Guy: *continues to type*
Me: *continues to think about hotness of sales guy*
Sales Guy: I'm sorry, but that is only available for PSP.
Me: Ok, thank you. *gets mad at the fact that knows this isn't true, cause cindyanne1 has it, but guesses that it isn't sales guy's fault, as NZ takes forever to get anything* *hides fact that is mad, as sales guy is hot*

Me: *tries to buy Kitchen & Bath*
Sales Girl (as hot guy is gone): *can't find disc*
Other customers: *get impatient*
Me: Oh, it's ok. I'll buy it another time if you can't find the disc.
Other customers: *relax*

So I went to get K&B or Castaway or both and I came home with Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and a bag of licorice. :P

O_o that guy is dense. It's always the pretty ones who have no brain, and the pc should have told him that it exists for other systems.
It's on Wii, pc, psp, ps2 and ds. He's missing a couple systems there.

It was the 'what we have' PC for the store. And it takes FOREVER for things to come out here. Sometimes we don't even get games for all platforms. :P

AND WHY DO THE HOT BOYS HAVE TO BE STUPID??? *cries*

I work at gamestop and our PC does that, but it will also show the other titles under that name with how many we have in stock next to it. Well, not for those under me but for myself, the AssistantM, and the M. Makes it a lot easier to look for crap when a customer says "I'm looking for a Sonic game" or "I'm looking for any sports game under this titles that you have". We can also look for other stores of ours that may have it instead ...doesn't help them much though when the only game with that title is in the next state.

....errr, they take the PC games out of the boxes there? We leave the pc games in because it's so hard to make sure that the install code doesn't get lost or stolen.
It's the games for every other system that get taken out.

This store (or rather chain of stores) does. SO IRRITATING.

Well then they need a better filing system for sure. We may misplace a used game because one of the underlings wasn't paying attention to the fact that the stack of games that need filing starts with Xbox but ends in PS2, but we will always know where our New games are. It's just retarded to gut pc games anyway, if they are afraid of them being stolen then they need to have the section either near where a register can see down the shelves, of better camera system.

LICORICE YUMMY. *eats defiantly*

WHIPPED CREAM COVERED TRENT IS BETTER.

I have no idea what trent is ....also, I am a bit confused as to what Treckle(SP? can't be buggered to google enough to find the spelling) is as well... Pratchet has mentioned it in several books but I have no idea ... anywho ...babbling.

Trent is one of her sims. He is really hot, and we have a joke about covering Trent in whipped cream and eating him, as he is so yummy. XD

Treacle is like a super-thick, dark molasses. Which is what sugar is made out of, after a zillion years of processing. It used to be the common sweetener, like for coffee, baking, etc. Gingerbread uses it sometimes. :D *is full of random knowledgeableness*

I thought it was something like that. I actually knew the whole sugar making process because of how much sugar cane is grown in a lot of areas here but I never knew the names of the process.

... Dude, add chocolate syrup to your Trent. As well as inventive placement of cherries!

Well, Trent's son gets covered in chocolate syrup. He is equally yummy.

Uh for a moment I thought you would think something along the lines of "be in my real legacy naow" about the sales guy. But then he had to turn out to be stupid... Now that I think about it it sounds quite sims-likely.

Anyway it wasn't so bad, well I don't know how good or bad "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones" is (unless it's the film in which case it's not terribly bad), and now I'm at loss about what licorice is. But it could have been worse. Like when I went to buy Seasons or Bon Voyage or an Accesories disk and all I could get was Pets.

LOL. It is the movie, and I've been wanting it for a while. Licorice is a kind of sweet/candy. XD

aaah then it was a good day, not perfect but good <3

Stupid sales guy gets points for not overly stupid hair & knowing how to brush his teeth. But Oh god, learn to read the system [headdesk] Its not that hard. I tell you what though, I refuse to buy games that have been opened. The whole reg key issue - there were a few places here where they had employees acquiring reg keys & then customers would have games that might as well be coasters. I either go elsewhere or make the manager sign something. But I can be a heinous bitch when I need to =P

Mind you, star wars. Win. Not a completely wasted day.
*&* you got licorice in all its aniseedy goodness.

& yeh... that was me.
I blame not finishing my coffee & an all night lan....
[shifty eyes]

I'm not going to blame it on him (and not just because he was cute). That store is ... um ... I can't think of a descriptive word. It NEVER does ANYTHING right. It took them THREE WEEKS longer then any other stores to get Free Time when it came out, as the "shipment was supposed to come in, but hasn't yet. We're sorry! *insert whiny voice* The only reason I went to it was that it was a 20 minute drive rather then an hour drive. I fully intend to stowaway in the car when it goes to the big town where there are actual stores that have INTELLIGENT computers. :P

This is only the second time I've watched this Star Wars movie, and some of my favorite scenes are in it. *bounces* Yoda Jedi Master fight? WIN.

Sorry for butting in but... There are NO intelligent computers, I know it, i build/program/work with them. They are made to be as intelligent or stupid as the person who controls them (which explains why my father always has problems with his computer that I fix in like 30 seconds? :D :D)

**IS JEALOUS YOU GET TO SEE HOT NEW ZEALAND GUYS ON A REGULAR BASIS!***

Americans suck. :(

*pouts* For the most part, they aren't hot. That is why this one was memorable. :P They always have too much gel in their hair and have their pants down around their ankles.

THERE ARE MORE BOYS TO CHOOSE FROM OVER THERE!!!

AMERICANS REALLY DO SUCK. I got to go to London last fall and I have been less patriotic everyday...

I can imagine that I would be too. Hell, I'm less patriotic every day and I have never even left the country.

Okay I'm probably going to be displaying my international ignorance, but do they have Amazon.com over there? Or is it the sort of thing where shipping would just cost too much?

That's too bad that the store didn't have what you wanted! ((hugs)) But feel free to enjoy Vidcund's antics in the jungle until you're able to get your fix!

Amazon.com ships out of the states, but if we have a credit card, we can use it. It just sometimes takes a while, and we have to pay fees for currency exchange. When I couldn't find a copy of Free Time, I looked it up, and to buy one off amazon and get it shipped would cost about $2 more then buying it from a store here, as our prices are ridiculous. BUT! Then I wouldn't have had it instantly. XD

*scoots off to amazon to check prices*

*scoots back* !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY $18 FROM AMAZON. Now if the shipping is anything close to reasonable, that will be WAY cheaper then what games here cost....DAMMIT. "This item cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box." :P But the rural mail delivery system is so untrustworthy! *tries to find other way*
